Originally titled, "Friendly reminder that GoDaddy sucks". But let's be solutions-oriented, friends.
Nick Richter on Threads reminds us that GoDaddy is terrible, and you should avoid doing business with them. If you are complacent, you risk having any web presence or email with them nuked. If they acquire a webhost you like, migrate elsewhere. And regardless of where you host or what online services you use, have some sort of backup plan.
